There’s something rather different about staying for two nights. You arrive knowing there’s no need to rush, unpack properly and have time to make The Forest Side your home for a couple of days.

Spend your days however you please. Head out onto the fells, wander into Grasmere, explore a little further afield or simply stay put with a book and let the Lake District carry on outside.

Back at The Forest Side, Paul Leonard and our team will look after you. On your first evening, enjoy our four-course dinner menu; on your second, Paul’s eight-course tasting menu. With entirely separate dishes across the two menus, each evening offers a distinct experience of Paul’s cooking, shaped by the season and by what’s growing, foraged and available around us.

There’s breakfast each morning, plenty of time in between, and nowhere you particularly need to be.
