A last-minute escape to The Forest Side

Sometimes the best breaks are the ones you didn’t know you needed.

When we have a room available at short notice, we offer a little extra off our Stay & Dine rate for those who can pack a bag and escape to Grasmere.

Come and spend a night with us at The Forest Side. Walk the fells, settle into the lounge, then let Paul Leonard and our team look after you before heading upstairs for a deep night’s sleep. Wake slowly, enjoy a proper Cumbrian breakfast and head home feeling rather better than when you arrived.

Our last-minute stays include an overnight stay in one of our bedrooms, your choice of our four- or eight-course dinner menu, and a full Cumbrian breakfast the following morning.
