Forest Side Michelin Star 2021
The Forest Side in Grasmere is delighted to announce it has successfully regained its Michelin star in the Michelin 2021 Guide.
As well as regaining this accolade the Michelin Guide has also acknowledged Forest Sides commitment to Sustainability.
During this testing past 12 months, Head Chef Paul Leonard and his dedicated team have remained committed to producing fantastic food in beautiful surroundings.
Head Chef Paul Leonard, said:” Being awarded a Michelin star in this current time is fantastic and I’d like to thank the whole team. My team and I have worked tirelessly in the kitchen, creating imaginative dishes using food from the Garden and landscape around Forest Side, and it is an honour to be recognised by the most prestigious food awards in the world.”
General Manager Alasdair Elwick, said, “This year has been extremely difficult for the whole team, however their passion, determination and focus on delivering excellence has been second to none, to achieve this a great testament to their ability and I cannot thank them enough.”
